We now have a phone line! We can be reached at 505-828-4373.The surf season is in full swing and the restaurant is staying quite busy these days. The crowd seems to be about half surfers and half investors and buyers coming to Gigante to overlook construction or find a place to start it. Casa Amarilla's roof is going on this week and should be up for rent soon on GiganteNicaragua.com.

3.3.07 | REASON TO CELEBRATE!
Gigante now has running water. The days of making 3 trips a day to the well to fil up the water tank are over! The village of Gigante has piped in water and the celebration is today at Pie de Gigante Oceanside Restaurant.Casa Amarillo, the beachhouse being built next to the restaurant is coming along, the floor has been poured and we hope to have the house completed and ready for rental next season. The view from the balcony will be amazing but you'll have to come down when you smell the cooking next door.

2.19.07 | THE WEBSITE IS UP (AGAIN)
After a redesign the website is up again and I'll be adding content and making a few changes over the next few weeks.My dad just got back from Nica, so I'm expecting to get some great photos of Gigante and the restaurant from him to put up here to share with you (and make wish I could have gone with him this time). Keith and Maria will post any news an happenings in Gigante for people to read here in the news section.
